Objectives: Participants will gain the ability to compare and contrast the critical distinctions in levels of practice for Nurse I Level 3 and Nurse II, and select one of the elements in the Dimensions of Nursing Practice to develop one specific example of how the dimension is met at the next grade. Prior to the presentation, it is recommended that the attendee review a copy of his/her functional statement, career path, and dimensions of practice for the grade sought.

Objectives: At the end of this presentation, the participant shall be able to: State criteria of the NIII Scope and Standard of Practice, Apply the NIII Qualification Standards to a hypothetical example, When given a hypothetical illustration of nursing practice, identify if the example meets the standard of NIII practice and if no, state what is needed, Select one of the Dimensions of Practice criteria and develop an example that meets the NIII standard.
